Storm doors are more popular than ever right now due to the
rising cost of energy. Consumers can save on their heating and
cooling costs by using a storm door. Storm doors save on heating
costs by providing a barrier against wind coming in and warm air
leaving the house. Storm doors save on cooling costs by allowing
natural ventilation in the spring and summer.
There are 2 main types of storm doors; aluminum frame and vinyl or aluminum skin over a solid woodcore.
One of the most important things is to match your storm door style to your entry door style.
